Lyocell is a durable cellulose fiber and up to 100% degradable. Lyocell has the luxurious appearance of silk, absorbs moisture even better than cotton and is as strong as polyester.
Lyocell is similar to viscose, but its production process is more environmentally friendly. Less harmful solvents are used for the production of Lyocell and waste water is reused. This closed system ensures that as little waste water as possible returns to the environment. Just like viscose, Lyocell is also made from wood chips.
